In Jeremiah 29:11, the Bible explains, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Our church comes together to pray on behalf of your needs and those of the community. We know life can feel hopeless at times, but if you put your faith in Christ, you will receive encouragement, peace, and strength. If you or someone you know is in need of God’s love and faithfulness, please submit a prayer request today.
Intercessory Prayer Meetings
According to Matthew 21:13, Jesus stated that the temple or His house should be called a “house of prayer.”
We believe that prayer is the foundation of all ministry. Jesus set the example for us in prayer by going to the Father. We set aside three specific days a week for intercessory prayer. Prior to Sunday services, we pray from 8:30 to 9:30 am. Prior to our Friday night Bible Study, we pray from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. We have also established special times of praying and fasting together; on Mondays, we pray and fast from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 pm. During this time, the church is open to anyone who desires to come by for prayer throughout the day. We also set aside the first three days of the month to pray and fast for the events of the upcoming month, our leaders, marriages, families, the sick, those bound with addictions, and the Body of Christ, and anything else God places on our hearts.
What is a Prayer Request?
A prayer request can help serve many needs. When you speak to God, you strengthen the relationship between you and Christ. He knows your needs and wants to be there for you. A prayer request is your way of declaring to him that you are prepared to receive his faithfulness and guidance. In Matthew 18:20 it says “For where two or more are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”
What Types of Prayers Can You Request?
There are no limitations as to what type of prayer request you may ask for. Whatever is in your heart, lay it out for God. Prayer requests are unique to you and your needs.
